The Daily Beast reports:
A car crashed into part of President Joe Biden’s security detail in Delaware on Sunday night. The president and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, were unharmed. As Biden was walking to a waiting SUV, a silver sedan with Delaware plates appeared and slammed into another Secret Service vehicle that was protecting the motorcade.
“There was a loud bang,” according to a White House pool report, “and POTUS was standing outside the vehicle with a surprised expression on his face.” Biden was hustled into his armored vehicle as security officers surrounded the sedan with their guns drawn. The driver put his hands up as the officers demanded he open his vehicle’s door.

Wow. Just saw this on the late local news here in the tristate. An SUV in Biden’s motorcade was hit as he was leaving his campaign HQs in DE. Biden freezes at the sound. Secret Service, guns out, surround the car, but it takes a long time. Not good.pic.twitter.com/v6gpddw49e
