Texas Secessionists: Our Day Is Coming Very Soon

The Texas Tribune reports:

Standing in front of a massive state flag on Saturday, Claver Kamau-Imani outlined his utopian vision of a Nation of Texas that he believes is just on the horizon. Per the Tribune, secessionists have renewed optimism due to support from some Texas legislators, one of whom, state Sen. Bob Hall [photo], spoke at the event. Hit the link.

As you can see below, Hall has appeared on the podcast of  “execute all Democrats” extremist Stew Peters.

Earlier this year, Hall spoke at the convention of the burgeoning far-right “constitutional sheriffs” movement, which contends that local sheriffs are the ultimate arbiters of all state and federal laws.

Hall last appeared here in January 2023 for his bill which would mandate that all foods “manufactured using human fetal tissue” be “clearly and conspicuously labeled.”

He first appeared here in 2016 for his failed bill to overturn all local LGBTQ rights ordinances in Texas.

In 2020, we heard from him when he spearheaded the successful move to ban the “unnatural” Log Cabin Republicans from having a booth at the Texas GOP state convention.
