Mediaite reports:
“Can you say unequivocally the 2020 election was not stolen?” That was the question ABC’s George Stephanopoulos put to House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) during a contentious interview on This Week. And he asked the question again and again and again. And he got no answer again and again and again. Five different times in a three-minute span, Stephanopoulos tried to pin Scalise down his very direct question.
The ABC host tried one last time. “Yes or no, was the 2020 election stolen?” “What I’ve told you is Joe Biden is the president of United States and right now is failing the country on so many fronts that matter to families,” Scalise said — before launching into a broad criticism of the president. Finally, Stephanopoulos threw in the towel. “Thanks for your time,” he said curtly — cutting off the interview.

Wow. Stephanopoulos presses Scalise four or five times to affirm that the 2020 election was not stolen, and Scalise repeatedly dodges by changing the topic. pic.twitter.com/V5viywZHtp
