“I know I’m going to get expelled when this expulsion resolution goes to the floor,” Santos said on Twitter Spaces, reported Alexander Solender of Axios. “I can do math,” he added, referring to the expected vote tally.
He’s daring Ethics Committee Chair Rep. Michael Guest, R-Miss., who filed a Santos expulsion resolution last week, to force a vote on a resolution. “I think he should be a man and stop being a p—y,” Santos taunted, according to Solender.
He called himself, however, the “Mary Magdalene” of Congress, referring to the devoted follower of Christ present at his crucifiction. “We’re all going to stone this m—–f—– because it’s just politically expedient,” Santos added, characterizing the attitude of his colleagues.

“I don’t rule out another run for office,” Santos says, though he adds that it won’t be in 2024 and he won’t run again in New York.

But he notes it requires Senate confirmation and “we all know there’s no chance in hell” he can get Senate confirmed.
