The Messenger reports:
Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., is strategizing potential plans to “mobilize the radical middle” as he continues to weigh entering the 2024 presidential race as an independent candidate, he said Sunday.
Manchin, who has decided to not seek reelection to the Senate as he eyes higher office, was asked Sunday if he has “made up his mind” about a presidential run in a radio interview with John Catsimatidis on Cats Roundtable for WABC 770 AM.
He responded that he’s sick of the division in Washington, and ready to see if he can mobilize members of the public. He did not explicitly say he was launching a bid for the White House.
