Phil Williams reports at Nashville’s CBS affiliate:
Defeated mayoral candidate Gabrielle Hanson, refusing to accept her landslide loss in Franklin’s city election, has now partnered with discredited election deniers in Arizona in claiming the election was rigged.
Hanson — who was defeated by incumbent Mayor Ken Moore by a four-to-one margin following a scandal-filled campaign — recorded a podcast over the weekend with right-wing activist Lyle Rapacki and defeated Arizona Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem.
Finchem latched onto multiple bogus claims by Hanson to claim fraud, saying he would support an effort by the Franklin alderman to challenge the outcome of the election. “Elections belong to the people. They don’t belong to some government bureaucracy,” Finchem told Hanson.
Read the full article. You may recall Mark Finchem appearing here many times last year for his QAnon batshittery. Earlier this year he was ordered to pay legal fees to Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs for his nutbag lawsuit to overturn his loss.
To recap this saga, early last month Hanson appeared here when she accused her mayoral challenger of being a member of Antifa. Before that she appeared on JMG for her attempts to ban Franklin Pride, for being exposed for her history of arrests for facilitating prostitution, for using the photos of minority woman who don’t know her and claiming that they are her supporters, for using self-avowed Nazis as a security detail, and for encouraging her husband to march in Chicago Pride wearing nothing but a Speedo despite calling Pride events a danger to children. Hanson also claimed to have warned police of her “premonition” about the deadly mass shooting at a Nashville school, but an officer’s bodycam footage proved that to be a lie as well.
