Donald Trump put a target on a New York law clerk with a conspiracy theory suggesting Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer is dating her and is rigging the fraud case against the former president. Trump claimed Tuesday, without citing any evidence, that Alison Greenfield, the principal law clerk to New York Supreme Court justice Arthur Engoron, was the girlfriend of Schumer and accused her of somehow directing the $250 million fraud case filed against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Presumably, Judge Chutkan will take notice that Trump just put a judicial clerk on blast to his fanatical followers during his trial, while providing them a photo and link to her social media account. He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing because he’s done it hundreds of times before.
