The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports:
Jeff Landry, the next governor of Louisiana, is a combative Cajun from St. Martin Parish who spent the past eight years as the Republican attorney general.
Landry, 52, is a GOP partisan who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump and who won headlines over the last eight years by repeatedly suing President Joe Biden, challenging Gov. John Bel Edwards and attacking leftist “woke” education policies.
Landry has centered his campaign on the promise to fight crime while also making vague promises to “provide teachers and kids with secure and safe schools,” as one campaign flyer recently stated. He has also championed “pro-life and pro-family values.”

Calling all MAGA patriots in Louisiana – Get out and vote today for @JeffLandry for Governor- He’s the only pro-Trump America First conservative in the race.
My father and I both endorsed him because we know that he will fight like hell for Louisiana!!!

Republican Jeff Landry just became the new governor of Louisiana, flipping it from Democrat to Republican. Landry was an Attorney General who joined the lawsuits that attempted to overturn the 2020 election. He’s an extremist and Republicans voted for him. Insane.
