Gaetz And Bartiromo Bicker About Shutdown Plans

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) went scorched earth on House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and questioned what “wins” House Republicans have actually racked up since January when they have been in the majority.

In a wild interview on Sunday Morning Futures, Gaetz battled Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo — who argued in her opening monologue that Gaetz is “disrupt[ing] the Republican wins” by opposing stopgap measures to fund the government.

“If you’re saying that I’m standing in the way of all the Republican wins, I’d love you to enumerate them,” Gaetz said. Bartiromo argued Republicans are making headway into investigating President Joe Biden, and Gaetz’s actions are only serving to stall that momentum.
