Via email from hate group leader Tony Perkins:
Before he was even elected to Congress, Jody Hice fought with us to advance public policy from a biblical worldview and has been a valuable addition to our team. His lifetime of ministry both in the church and then on Capitol Hill, combined with his passion for faith, family, and freedom, will greatly enhance FRC Action’s effectiveness and impact on the coming 2024 election cycle and beyond. I am excited and grateful to have Jody helping to lead the incredible team we have at FRC Action.
From former GOP Rep. Jody Hice:
I believe we are in many ways in the fight of our life for this country, morally and spiritually especially, as we approach the pivotal 2024 elections. Now more than ever, we are tasked with defending all things regarding faith, family, and freedom. The spiritual aspect of this work has always been a priority for me, and it’s a joy to be serving at Family Research Council and FRC Action, organizations with an impeccable reputation. I am so honored to be serving as FRC Action’s new president.
Hice, you will recall, gave up his US House seat to run for Georgia Secretary of State after incumbent Brad Raffensperger refused Trump’s demand to overturn the result of the 2020 election. Hice lost the GOP primary to Raffensperger by 20 points, with Raffensperger easily winning a second term in the general election. Then unemployed, Hice began working for the Family Research Council, often hosting Tony Perkins’ daily Washington Watch podcast. While the FRC recently reclassified themselves as a church, FRC Action is their political lobbying arm.
“From June 2013 to May 2015, Josh Duggar was executive director of FRC Action, a political action and lobbying organization sponsored by the Family Research Council..focused on “engaging the grassroots and taking the message of faith, family and freedom all across America” https://t.co/2KKQgoZOTl
