The Springfield Daily News reports:
Election denier and My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell has returned to Springfield this week for an ‘Election Summit,” where he says he will reveal a plan to “secure our elections immediately.” The Lindell Election Summit will take place on Aug. 16 and 17, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both days.
The two-day event features many guest speakers, including former Donald Trump advisors Micahel Flynn and Steve Bannon, 2022 Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and the recently-indicted Rudy Giuliani, among representatives from all 50 states, according to the event website.
Mediaite reports:
Lindell, who is determined to prove that Chinese interference led to widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election despite being presented with evidence to the contrary, claims on the event’s web site that “God gave [him] a plan” to provide secure elections that “does not rely on legislation, judges, or legal actions, etc.”
He further claims that this “is such a perfect plan” that he had to get the word out in front of a big audience of people, which is why he’s holding this summit. His plan might be perfect, but alas, the summit is not exactly off to a perfect start.
Lindell claims his event is being “broadcasted in 85 languages.” Oddly enough, people have doubts about that. You may recall that Lindell lost a $5 million bet with a Trump supporter at last year’s summit. So far, he has refused to pay and the cultist is suing him.
Mike Lindell takes the stage as an “Election Crime Bureau” ticker scrolls behind him. He says this new election summit is not about evidence, they have enough evidence. He throws to a video and they play the wrong one. This all happens in the first minute of the summit. pic.twitter.com/FJHyEXf3DQ
