Anti-Abortion Extremist Launches Bid For US House

The Christian Post reports:

A pro-life activist whose home was raided by FBI agents and faced 11 years in prison in response to his pro-life activism, which sparked national outrage, has announced his intention to run for Congress.

Mark Houck, a pro-life activist arrested by FBI agents in an early morning raid for the purported assault of a Planned Parenthood clinic escort who was harassing his 12-year-old son, announced his intention to run for the U.S. House of Representatives in an interview with the Catholic website Church Militant.

Houck is running to represent Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, currently represented by Republican Brian Fitzpatrick. News of Houck’s treatment at the hands of federal law enforcement did not sit well with Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights.

During his trial, he was represented by the Catholic anti-LGBTQ hate group, the Thomas More Society. In May, House Republicans had him testify at a hearing about the supposed weaponization of the FBI against Christians.

Houck first appeared on JMG in 2012 when he claimed that “an increase in porn leads to an increase in sexual activity outside of marriage, which leads to an increase in ‘unwanted’ pregnancies, which leads to an increase in abortion.”

His money beg on the Christian crowdfunding site favored by white supremacists and Capitol rioters has raised $412,000 at this writing.

As noted above, Houck announced his House bid at Church Militant, the far-right Catholic site founded by allegedly ex-gay homocon Michael “Comically Bewigged” Voris.

And as you can see below, today he was granted an interview by Steve Bannon, who is still somehow not in prison.
