Politico Playbook reports:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign proclaimed a “reset” yesterday as it laid off more than a third of its staff and promised a more focused message alongside a leaner operation. “Ron DeSantis loves being the underdog and he’s ready to prove everyone wrong again,” campaign spokesperson Andrew Romeo wrote in a messaging memo.
But behind the scenes, there are serious doubts whether the layoffs will do anything to address a fundamental weakness of DeSantis’ presidential bid: the rising tension and distrust brewing between his campaign and the main super PAC supporting him, Never Back Down.

DeSantis’ mask is off after a video w/ Neo Nazi symbolism by a staffer surfaced. The DeSantis campaign knew they had a Nazi on staff & what did they do? They gave him the keys. My God. It turns out that a DeSantis campaign staffer didn’t just *share* a video featuring DeSantis with Nazi symbols— he MADE it himself. He previously praised white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
And he was hired to write DeSantis’ speeches.

Neo-Nazi’s have been rallying around Florida for months waving swastikas. Some even waved DESANTIS FLAGS. Right outside Disney.
He. Said. NOTHING.
