The New York Times reports:
The 76th Tony Awards are taking place tonight at the United Palace in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood. The awards ceremony will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
The broadcast will be preceded by a special segment at 6:30 p.m., hosted by Julianne Hough and Skylar Astin and streamed on Pluto TV, during which a number of awards for creative work will be announced.
This year’s awards ceremony, which was nearly called off amid the Writers Guild of America strike, will be presented without a script in an agreement reached with the union.
