Yahoo Sports reports:
Oakland A’s broadcaster Glen Kuiper was fired Monday following his on-air utterance of a racial slur during a pregame show May 5. The A’s denounced the slur as “unacceptable” on the day of the incident. NBC Sports California suspended Kuiper indefinitely a day later.
On Monday, the network released a statement announcing that he has been fired: “Following an internal review, the decision has been made for NBC Sports California to end its relationship with Glen Kuiper, effective immediately. We thank Glen for his dedication to Bay Area baseball over the years.”

You know why they fired you Glen Kuiper. It wasn’t the first time you said “N-word League Museum” that day was it? That is not a mistake you just make after 20 years of broadcasting, you said the top thing you can’t say, because you were thinking it, that’s the truth, isn’t it? pic.twitter.com/dwPaaYepkw
