Sen. Mike Lee: Criticism Of Clarence Thomas Is Racist

“This is absolutely dreadful. This is an attack on Justice Thomas, a good man who has risen from poverty in the Jim Crow south to a position as one of the most respected jurists in our nation’s history.

“They don’t like that. They don’t like the fact he has the audacity to be a conservative as a black man. This is categorically unfair. It’s been going on for 31 years.

“They’re doing this not only to attack him, but to attack the legitimacy of the Supreme Court so they can re-image the Supreme Court according to their own interests.

“There’s not one allegation that they’ve raised against him that reveals any impropriety, any wrongdoing, any violation of any law, rule, or principle. They are wrong.” – Sen. Mike Lee, speaking to Fox Business.
