Raw Story reports:
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Monday got pushback from some of his followers after he condemned a newly passed law in Uganda that makes homosexuality a crime that is punishable by death. Writing on Twitter, Cruz, who has long been an opponent of LGBTQ rights in the United States, argued that executing people simply for being gay was far too extreme. While Cruz’s stance drew praise from some of his followers, others lobbed criticism at the senator for speaking out against the law.
Read the full article. As you can see below, separate from the cultists that support Uganda’s new law, homocons are blaming the law on Biden. The final tweet below is from Florida’s most cultist Republican, who is again running for the US House.
This Uganda law is horrific & wrong.
Any law criminalizing homosexuality or imposing the death penalty for “aggravated homosexuality” is grotesque & an abomination.
ALL civilized nations should join together in condemning this human rights abuse.#LGBTQ https://t.co/tTIMR8VtqW

Ted, seems to me your focus should be here at home working to get the unjustly punished J6 prisoners out of jail. I’m disappointed in you.

Another example of what is happening around the world without Donald Trump as President of the United States.
Thank you, Senator Cruz for speaking out now.
We made it clear to Uganda in the Trump Administration that criminalizing homosexuality is wrong. No one should be in jail… https://t.co/QlHQUeC6ZQ

The Biden Admin squarely owns this major setback in Africa. Weak leadership and feckless foreign policy positions have eroded American human rights values. All Americans, but especially LGBT voters, on the eve of Pride month no less, should be horrified with this setback. https://t.co/zjI3antTv3

You’re a Globalist shill who voted several times to give $100+ BILLION dollars to Ukraine
You are an America LAST swamp creature—cut the shit https://t.co/IMdaVjaDpR
