Reuters reports:
Jurors reached a verdict on Tuesday in the civil rape trial of Donald Trump, the former U.S. president accused of sexually assaulting writer E. Jean Carroll and then defaming her by claiming she made up the story.
A court official said a verdict will be delivered at 3 p.m. ET (1900 GMT). The jury deliberated just under three hours before reaching a verdict.
During the seven-day trial in Manhattan federal court, Carroll, 79, told jurors that Trump, 76, raped her in a dressing room at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan in 1995 or 1996, and then ruined her reputation by denying it happened.
