Georgia County Republicans May Ban LGBTQs Because They Don’t “Eat Brownies That Are Made Of 20% Poop”

“It’s not that we don’t love [LGBTQ people]. It’s not that we don’t like them. But if you’re going to be part of the Republican Party, you have to support the platform, and the rules and bylaws 100%, not just 80%.

“If I made brownies, and I said, ‘Well, these are 80% brownies and 20% poop’, you would not eat those brownies.

“They came back with all sorts of arguments: ‘Oh, you’re being discriminatory, blah, blah, blah, blah.’ It’s like, no, everybody’s discriminatory.

“We discriminate against bad food. We discriminate against having pedophiles around our children. We discriminate against drunk drivers, we don’t want them on the roads. So discrimination is not necessarily a bad thing.

“We’re discriminating against a lifestyle that is in rebellion to God’s laws.” – Sara Lain-Moneymaker, on her resolution to ban LGBTQs from Georgia’s Chatam County Republican Party. She’s running for county party chair.

Per her LinkedIn, she’s a “self-employed reverend.”
