Six men were arrested this week in a child-predator sting, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Friday. At least two of the men worked in settings with children, the sheriff’s office said.
In an undercover mission, detectives posed as underage boys and girls on dating apps and social media, according to the sheriff’s office. People messaged the fake profiles and agreed to meet with children they believed were offering sex.Instead, they met law enforcement.
Charged with first-degree luring a minor and online sexual corruption of a child was Sean Baba, 29, of Portland, who investigators said was working as the director of music ministry at St. Pius X Church and School near Cedar Mill.
