Just in via press release:
Rumble, the video-sharing platform, announced today that it has entered a partnership with the Republican National Committee (RNC) to be the exclusive live stream provider for the first debate of the Republican presidential primaries.
The debate will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in August 2023, and will be hosted and broadcast on cable television by Fox News and the Young America’s Foundation.
As the RNC’s digital live stream partner, Rumble will feature the debate on the platform’s homepage and make it available for viewers across the country on the RNC’s Rumble channel.
“I am so excited to announce that Rumble will be the RNC’s official streaming partner for the first Republican primary debate,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
“This is a big step for our party and country, as Republican leaders we must continue to hold Big Tech accountable for their biases and silencing of conservatives. People deserve a fair, unbiased platform and that’s exactly what this partnership will provide.”
In 2021, the current Florida Republican Party chairman, then a Sarasota County Commissioner, awarded $825,000 to Rumble, which then relocated its headquarters from Canada to the area’s Longboat Key, also home to one of Rumble’s chief investors, Fox News host Dan Bongino. The grant generated brief backlash locally. As you may know, Rumble is home to notorious extremists and white supremacists, most of whom have been banned by YouTube, which was attacked by Ronna McDaniel this morning on Fox & Friends during her announcement.
Most interesting part of this — media partners are YAF and Rumble. Part of long-term RNC goal of making trad media less relevant in party debates. (See also RNC pulling out of CPD debates after 2020.) https://t.co/HL0s5w82Gl

Sarasota County gave an $825,000 grant to a tech company they didn’t know the name of. The company turned out to be a spreader of Russian propaganda.https://t.co/tkfErqMMZg
