Virginia Rep: Make Passing Federal Gun Laws A Felony

The Daily Beast reports:

A Virginia lawmaker who previously warned of a “coming Civil War” in America is proposing a law that would make it a felony to pass gun laws.

Virginia delegate Marie March made national headlines in 2021 when she was among a crop of candidates who won election despite attending a Jan. 6 “Stop the Steal” rally in D.C. that preceded the attack on the U.S. Capitol. March has not been charged with a crime and says she left the rally before the attack.

If re-elected, March wrote, “I will lead the effort to outlaw every single Federal Anti-Gun Edict or ‘rule change’ here in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and make it a felony to try to push these anti-gun schemes on law-abiding citizens.”
