Missouri Megachurch Pastor Asked To Show Proof That Prayer Regrew Woman’s Toes Shot Off By Her Husband

The Kansas City Star reports:

Following claims from a Missouri pastor that prayer regrew a woman’s amputated toes, a new website is asking for proof. Without showing photo or video evidence, James River Church pastor John Lindell told his congregation a “creative miracle” took place involving a woman named Krissy Thompson. Video from the conference has been removed from the church’s Facebook page, but it remains on the website ShowMeTheToes.com.

Lindell said Thompson was shot three times in 2015 by her husband and had to have three toes amputated. The pastor claims Johnson asked in a prayer group if anyone needed a “creative miracle,” and Thompson responded. The pastor, without proof, claimed Thompson’s toes began regrowing within 30 minutes and were longer than her pinky toe. He added that her toenails began to grow within an hour.

There’s more scamtastic LOL batshittery at the link. Watch Lindell’s toe-growing claims in the video here. Note the chorus of amens and hallelujahs from the congregation.

Lindell first appeared on JMG in 2015 as the leader of a public referendum to repeal an LGBT rights ordinance in Springfield, Missouri, saying, “It is possible for someone who has been a lifelong alcoholic to stop. It is possible for somebody who has a cutting tongue and a big mouth to stop. It is possible for someone who is engaged in homosexual behavior to stop.” The repeal was narrowly approved by voters and the ordinance has not been reinstated. Lindell last appeared here in 2018 when he declared yoga to be demonic.
