At Least 23 Dead, Dozens Hurt In Mississippi Tornado

The Washington Post reports

A devastating tornado swept through parts of Mississippi overnight, killing at least 23 people, injuring dozens more and wreaking severe damage after wind gusts of up to 80 mph and hail the size of golf balls swept through the state.

The agency said that numerous local and state search-and-rescue teams worked through the night in hope of finding residents affected by a tornado that left more than 100 miles of damage.
