Congress Minutes reports:
Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) backed former President Donald Trump’s bid to return to the White House on Friday, becoming the fifth Republican and third freshman senator to offer his support.
It’s a far cry from the immediate enthusiasm for Trump’s bid for a second term in the White House just four years ago, as the former president has slowly built up public support on Capitol Hill.
Across the way, approximately 30 House Republicans have voiced public support for Trump’s 2024 run. Many represent the more conservative corners of the party.

The other four senators who have endorsed Trump: Graham, Vance, Schmitt, Tuberville.
Mullin last appeared on JMG when he introduced a bill to expunge Trump’s second impeachment for inciting the Capitol riot.
Mullin, a former MMA fighter, appeared on JMG in September 2021 when he threatened US Embassy staff who objected to his mission to personally rescue five US citizens in Afghanistan.
