The Hill reports:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) administration has filed a complaint against an Orlando foundation over a drag holiday event it hosted in which minors were allowed to attend the show.
The complaint, which was filed Friday, alleges that the Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation violated state law in allowing for a person to “commit lewd or lascivious exhibition” in the presence of an individual who is less than 16 years old.
It states that the foundation hosted a show called “A Drag Queen Christmas” on Dec. 28 and sold alcoholic drinks during it. The state’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco under the Department of Business and Professional Regulation filed the complaint in its capacity as a regulator of alcohol.

The foundation operates a 1200-seat former movie theater as one of its performance spaces. I happened to be home in Orlando on the night of the show and when we drove past the venue, the police were engaging with the Proud Boys.

Ron DeSantis has filed a complaint against the Orlando Philharmonic and stripped its liquor license for hosting “A Drag Queen Christmas.” They claim it was a felony violation. They are weaponizing the state to eliminate queer existence. https://t.co/tyBgMWe6YW pic.twitter.com/19q773y5M1

They claim it’s about “sexually explicit conduct” or “obscene” material in front of minors but any parent can bring their kid to see a movie like Jackass 4 and see a bunch of dicks and graphic content. They don’t seem to be targeting the local AMC Theaters.
