Deadspin reports:
It hasn’t been a great week for NBC Sports football analyst Tony Dungy. He made up one-half of perhaps the most low-energy broadcast team we’ve ever heard on Saturday night and has been getting flack for it ever since.
Dungy has also been getting roasted, and rightly so, by Cyd Zeigler over at OutSports for his ongoing opposition to same-sex marriage.
On Wednesday, Dungy shared a myth that litter boxes are being placed in schools for children that identify as furries, a brain-dead rumor that was debunked months ago after being spread as right-wing propaganda.

The tweet, which was in response to an article from Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire, has since been deleted after widespread backlash.
Dungy, the former head coach for the Indianapolis Colts, appeared here regularly years ago for his anti-LGBTQ stances.
In 2012, he appeared in a Christian coalition’s video against adoption by same-sex couples in a campaign that included a plea to watch the video instead of Madonna during her Super Bowl performance.
Do better, Tony.https://t.co/Ncn44CY8B8

I will share this until @NBC @NBCSports and @NBCOut respond.
Completely insane.@TonyDungy is a lead @NFL analyst who equates trans people with a fictitious group who identify as cats and want litter boxes.
It is demeaning and cruel. They must respond.https://t.co/T8zgQgXTxz
