The Metro reports:
The time has come for Call Me Kat to say goodbye to cast member Leslie Jordan, and the farewell has left fans in tears. In October the Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian died aged 67 in a car crash after suffering a medical emergency while at the wheel.
A regular cast member on the series since its first season, Jordan played Phil, who worked as the head baker at Kat’s (Mayim Bialik) café. The tenth episode, titled Call Me Philliam, aired on Friday night, and it paid tribute to not only the character, but broke the fourth wall to acknowledge Jordan.
Having to write Phil out of the show, the comedy chose to go with the storyline that he had decided to stay in Tahiti after going on holiday with his partner Jalen (John Griffin).
