Anti-Vax Tory MP To Sue Critic Of Vax/Holocaust Tweet

Leicestershire MP Andrew Bridgen is to sue Matt Hancock for £100,000 over a row about Covid-19 vaccines. It comes after the former health secretary accused Mr Bridgen of sharing “anti-Semitic, anti-vax, anti-scientific conspiracy theories” in a post on Twitter.

Mr Bridgen recently lost the Conservative party whip for “crossing the line” and “causing great offence” when criticising the vaccines. Mr Bridgen, now sitting as an independent as a result of losing the Tory whip, had earlier described the vaccines in a tweet as “the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust”.

In his tough response, Mr Hancock described Mr Bridgen’s comments as “disgusting and dangerous”. The MP replied saying he was “not racist” and would be “speaking to a legal team who will commence action” against those that had labelled him so.
