The Birmingham News reports:
A Pelham middle school teacher and wrestling coach who also doubled as the youth director of a McCalla church was arrested and jailed Wednesday on child porn charges.
Adam Jeremy Lewis, an eighth grade teacher at Pelham Park Middle School and an assistant coach for the school’s wrestling team, was charged with possessing child pornography. He was released from the Shelby County Jail after posting $15,000 bond, jail records showed.
Lewis has been placed on administrative leave, Pelham City Schools Superintendent Chuck Ledbetter told AL.com. Ledbetter also sent an email to parents.

This is not the place for me to give the details about the situation. But we know that Tim, Sherry, and Erin need our prayers in a major way. So does Adam.
This is a devastating moment for our church family, but I know God is working. He is “our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Ps. 46:1). Let’s cling to him in trust, now more than ever.
