Woman Throws Computer At Miami Airport Worker

Miami’s NBC affiliate reports:

A video of a woman having an angry outburst at Miami International Airport and throwing a computer at an airline agent is quickly gaining traction as the airport anticipates another record-breaking holiday travel season.

The video, posted on Only in Dade’s Instagram, shows a woman screaming in the middle of a crowded American Airlines gate on Tuesday morning. She takes her anger out on the agent, picking up the computer monitor on the counter and throwing it at her.

Camilia McMillie, 25, of Alabama, erupted in the middle of gate D-39 after noticing her children had walked away without telling her, Miami-Dade Police said in an arrest report. Investigators said she became irate and started to scream, demanding the gate agent find her children.

While screaming, she goes behind a desk, tossing keyboards and ripping the boarding pass reader off the wooden counter. Then, a different angle shows her grabbing a computer monitor and throwing it at the gate agent, striking her in the shoulder.

Travelers watched in disbelief, along with the employee, who seemed stunned by what had just taken place. The employee is said to be OK and has some bruising on her right shoulder area.

Police also told 7News that there was around $10,000 worth of damage to American Airlines property. Millie was booked into jail later that night on an aggravated battery charge, among others. She’s being held on $13,000 bond.
