CNN reports:
In appearances, and in an old campaign biography, Santos claimed his parents sent him to Horace Mann, an elite private school in the Bronx.
“He began Horace Mann preparatory school in the Bronx, however, did not graduate from Horace Mann due to financial difficulties for his family,” his biography read in 2019. “He obtained a GED during his senior year.”
But the claim is false, according to the school. “We’ve searched the records and there is no evidence that George Santos (or any alias) attended Horace Mann,” Ed Adler, a spokesman for the school, told CNN.
Mediaite reports:
Rep.-Elect George Santos (R-NY) claimed his mother died in the Sept. 11 attacks, but just five months later tweeted she died in December 2016.
In a reply to an account ludicrously named “9/11 was a victimless crime,” Santos tweeted, “9/11 claimed my mothers life… so I’m blocking so I don’t ever have to read this again.”
In a tweet sent five months later, Santos stated his mother died in December 2016. “December 23rd this year marks 5 years I lost my best friend and mentor,” he wrote. “Mom you will live forever in my heart.”
? Santos on Feb. 28, 2022: “For a lot of people who are descendants of World War II refugees, or survivors of the Holocaust, a lot of names and paperwork were changed in the name of survival. So I don’t carry the family last name — that would’ve been Zabrovsky.“ pic.twitter.com/5lEzIrfk6j

Santos also falsely claimed he’s the grandson of Holocaust survivors in his campaign launch video on June 10, 2021 (with imagery of the death camps):

George Santos pretended to be a gay Afro-Latino Ukrainian Brazilian Catholic Jew whose mother died on 9/11, whose ancestors survived the Holocaust, whose employees died in the Pulse club mass shooting, and whose net worth rose by millions overnight.
Am I missing anything?

NEW: George Santos used the alias “Anthony Zabrovsky” to raise money for a pet organization.
Santos once claimed Zabrovsky was his family’s Jewish Ukranian name before they had to change it. But there’s no record that was ever their namehttps://t.co/GqwKSHZqoh
