Florida Politics reports:
Republican Anna Paulina Luna and Democrat Eric Lynn are locked in a tie for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, according to polling by David Binder Research released Monday. Both candidates garnered 47% support in the survey of voters in the open district, with 42% of voters each indication their voting choice was definitive.
Lynn also appears to have momentum among independents, with 48% backing compared to Luna’s 43%. Lynn is running on a moderate platform, while Luna has stuck to hard conservative, pro-former President Donald Trump messaging.
The two are running to replace former U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, who resigned from office earlier this year to focus on his bid for Governor.

Luna earned headlines last week when she sent hurricane-scarred voters an “emergency” plea for campaign donations. In 2020, Luna failed to unseat Crist. This year she was endorsed by Trump.
Last year Luna claimed that her GOP primary rivals had plotted to have her murdered. Luna is a regular on Newsmax and has appeared on Candace Owens’ show.
Eric Lynn worked on Obama’s 2008 campaign and went on to a post in Obama’s State Department. In 2016 he briefly ran for the US House before withdrawing for a failed bid for the Florida House.
