Mediaite reports:
Mehmet Oz spoke at a private fundraiser in Southern California Thursday, and his campaign apparently thought it was a good idea for him to do it while standing in front of one of Adolf Hitler’s old cars. The Republican Pennsylvania Senate nominee attended a $5,000 per plate event. He was welcomed to the Lyon Air Museum in Santa Ana alongside Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) and Nevada GOP Sebate nominee Adam Laxalt. The event was organized by the brother-in-law of Rep. Matt Gaetz.
Jezebel reports:
We have several theories about how and why this happened. One, Oz’s team is extremely bad at their jobs. Two, they hate their boss. Three, this was an intentional wink to the fascist elements of the Republican party. The chair of the event, Palmer Luckey, is Gaetz’s brother-in-law and the billionaire founder of Oculus VR. Luckey is a Trump supporter and, in 2017, he was photographed with Steve Bannon and white supremacist Chuck C. Johnson, with both Johnson and Luckey flashing a white power gesture.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re asking donors for money in front of Hitler’s literal car, then you shouldn’t be running for U.S. Senate https://t.co/68X6ulCPQa

Matt Gaetz’ in-laws hosted a high-dollar fundraiser for Dr. Oz at a museum last night in which Oz stood in front of one of Hitler’s cars, which showed up in the social media photos. Also, incel king Jordan Peterson joined by Zoom.

Earlier this week @JohnFetterman said Dr. Oz was a Simpson’s character.
Then he did this last night. pic.twitter.com/0ycqFO14nZ

The American Right: Biden giving a speech in front of Independence Hall is fascist.
Also The American Right: Let’s have our top Senate candidate give a speech in front of literally Hitler’s car https://t.co/KJzGEki5Lz
