The Villages News reports:
Villager Ed McGinty remains banned from the Hadley Pool after a political dispute with a fellow Villager. He was arrested twice, but cleared both times in court.
The Village of Hadley resident appeared before the Community Development District 9 Board of Supervisors at SeaBreeze Recreation Center seeking an early return to his pool.
During his appearance before the CDD 9 board, he admitted to a verbal altercation with the woman last year, because she was wearing a “Biden Sucks” T-shirt. He accused the board of being in league with Villagers for Trump and walked out of the meeting.

McGinty has earned a measure of internet fame for heckling pro-Trump golf cart parades in The Villages and brandishing anti-Trump signs. In 2020, Trump retweeted a video of a cultist shouting “white power” at McGinty and other protesters from his golf cart.

p.s. Ed McGinty is the reason the media shows up to The Villages.
What was once a vocally pro-Trump community is now a scene of counter-protests and resistance.
It started with Ed taking on some of his neighbors, ignoring threats and pressing on.
I love this guy.
