Earlier this month Staver claimed that the bill will legalize pedophilia, polygamy, incestuous marriages, and “child brides.”
I don’t know if Schumer will find 60 votes to pass the marriage equality bill in Lame Duck or not, but there is a precedent for this.
In 2010, Dems brought the Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell repeal to the Senate floor after losing the midterm. The bill passed, with 6 GOPers voting yes.
