The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports:
The first such local event since 2009, the festival featured live music, entertainment, dancing, panel discussions, information on the history of the LGBTQ community and a youth program. The festival lasted most of the day at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. It was organized by Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride. Word of plans to hold the festival drew opposition from some people in the Inland area on social media last week and protests, which included some heated exchanges and at least one fight.
Warning: Violence, blood.
Today anti-fascist activists brawled with a right-wing group protesting the Riverside, California LGBTQ+ Pride Parade.
The right-wing group was led by Chris Reyes, who was arrested at the end of the fight.
