Publishers Weekly reports:
Far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’s new book, billed as an analysis of “the global elite’s international conspiracy to enslave humanity and all life on the planet,” sold more than 30K copies in its first week despite Jones being convicted last month in the defamation lawsuit brought against him by parents of Sandy Hook shooting victims.
At the writing, the hardcover version of Jones’ “The Great Reset” is ranked at #6 on Amazon’s bestsellers list, just ahead of “The Simply Happy Cookbook” by Fox News host Steve Doocy and his wife.
Far-right extremists, including Tucker Carlson, are claiming that the New York Times is “censoring” his book from its supposedly rightful spot atop their bestsellers list.
Of note, Gab CEO Andrew Torba’s “Christian Nationalism” release has plummeted from last week’s #3 peak to #92.
Ten days after release, Alex Jones’ new book “The Great Reset” is #6 on Amazon’s best seller list.
