Graham Hails Anti-Gay Soccer Player: “Guts For Jesus”

It takes guts to stand up for Jesus—and that’s what North Carolina Courage soccer defender Jaelene Daniels did when she refused to wear a gay pride jersey for Friday night’s game.

Previously, Jaelene had turned down an offer to play with the national women’s soccer team for a similar reason.

She said, “I remain committed to my faith and my desire for people to know that my love for them isn’t based on their belief system or sexuality.”
