Pennsylvania Senate Democratic nominee John Fetterman is getting back on the campaign trail with his first public event since suffering a stroke in May

The campaign stop will take place next Friday evening in Erie, a key bellwether county in the state, according to details shared first with POLITICO. It will be open to the press.

Fetterman has said his physical recovery is going well and he has clearance from his doctors to continue the campaign against Republican physician Mehmet Oz for one of the most important and hotly contested Senate seats in the country.
