The Insider reports:
As the National Archives and Records Administration asked former President Donald Trump to return any missing White House documents he may have taken with him, one conservative activist was telling Trump that the records were his to keep, according to a new report.
Tom Fitton, president of conservative activist group Judicial Watch, argued to Trump that the White House files belonged to him and that he should not have let the National Archives and Records Administration “strong-arm” him into returning the documents.
Fitton cited a 2012 case involving Judicial Watch and an attempt to obtain recordings from former President Bill Clinton’s time in office to argue that the documents from his term in office belong to the former president.

Fitton last appeared here when he was banned by TikTok for spreading election lies.
When he’s not parroting Trump’s lies about everything and screaming about Fauci, Fitton can be found posing in shirts two sizes too small and flexing his biceps.
Judicial Watch was founded by screeching nutbag Larry Klayman and is perhaps best known for filing countless failed suits against Obama.
The list of their many, many “false claims” maintained by Wikipedia is really something.
Unable to find a lawyer to tell him what he wanted to hear, Trump turned to Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton, who has … a BA in English.
Fitton told him to flip off the Archives and not hand over any more docs.
