Washington DC’s Fox affiliate reports:
Four people were struck by lightning Thursday evening, and are currently in the hospital with critical life-threatening injuries, according to D.C. Fire and EMS.
Members of the U.S. Park Police and the Secret Service were the first to witness the lightning strike at Lafayette Park on the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers said they found two men and two women unconscious. U.S. Park Police and members of the Secret Service administered CPR.
