Trump’s Appraisers Hit With $10K/Day Contempt Fine

The New York Daily News reports:

A Manhattan judge overseeing the New York attorney general’s probe into Donald Trump’s family real estate business said Wednesday that he would fine the former president’s appraising and brokerage firm $10,000 a day.

State Supreme Court Justice Engoron found Cushman & Wakefield in contempt of court for refusing to comply with Attorney General Letitia James’ subpoenas for information related to its relationship with the Trump Organization.

The firm provided appraisals and brokerage services with the corporation before cutting ties after the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
