Texas Pastor Charged With Sex Abuse Of Nine Year-Old

Corpus Christi’s NBC affiliate reports:

William C. Robinson, a pastor working for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries in Corpus Christi, was booked in the Nueces County Jail early Monday morning. Robinson is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony.

The arrest affidavit states that allegations were made against Robinson during a forensic interview. Sexual contact with the child reportedly began when she was nine — more than five years ago.

“The offender in this case, by his own omission and by his acts, give cause for concern for the child’s safety as well as others, which warrants his apprehension,” the arrest affidavit states.
