Lawyer For Oklahoma AG’s Office Arrested After Wild Multiple Hit-And-Run Crashes Police Chase [VIDEO]

The Tulsa World reports:

An assistant solicitor general for the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office was arrested in Broken Arrow on Tuesday after a police pursuit following a hit-and-run collision. Two pedestrians, including a police officer, were hit by her car as she tried to get away, police said.

Courtney Rae Jordan, 36, who the Attorney General’s Office confirmed is employed there, was arrested, police said, on two complaints of leaving the scene of an injury collision and one complaint each of “assault with a dangerous weapon, felony eluding, leaving the scene of a property damage collision, and larceny from a dwelling.”

Tulsa’s Fox affiliate reports:

Police ran the license plate tag after obtaining it from witnesses at the scene, and the car was linked to 36-year-old Jordan, and it was previously seen at two attempted burglaries only 30 minutes prior to the hit and run. Officers found the car near the hit and run scene and initiated a traffic stop, Jordan struck a pedestrian with her vehicle and drove off.

Jordan drove through various commercial businesses near Aspen and Kenosha before coming to stop in a business parking lot. Officers said she ignored commands and rammed a patrol car, causing the vehicle to hit the officer behind it before driving off again.

Police said Jordan continued driving faster south on Aspen Ave and turning onto Washington. Once at Elm Pl and Washington, Jordan collided with several vehicles at that intersection. Jordan again tried to leave the scene before crashing into a privacy fence on Elm Pl where she was apprehended. Police say she was medically cleared shortly after she was apprehended.

The Oklahoma Attorney General’s office says Jordan has been “placed on administrative leave while our office gathers more information.”
