Brian Brown Rages At Sen. Ron Johnson’s “Betrayal”

Via email from hate group leader Brian Brown:

We are perilously close to losing marriage in America. It’s outrageous that so many members of Congress – Democrats and Republicans alike – are willing to betray their constituents (over 50 million of whom voted to define marriage as one man, one woman) to curry favor with the LGBT lobby.

Take a look at the latest Republican Senator to say he might vote for the bill, Republican Ron Johnson in Wisconsin. Incredibly, Johnson told a reporter that he “saw no reason to oppose” the gay-marriage bill.

What?! How about the fact that nearly 60% of Wisconsin voters passed a constitutional amendment in 2006 to define marriage in Wisconsin solely as the union of one man and one woman!

Think about the idiocy of Ron Johnson’s statement. He is apparently willing to ignore the votes of 60% of Wisconsinites on marriage while simultaneously asking them to vote for him in his hotly-contested reelection battle.

If he won’t stand with us, why should we stand with him? We need to immediately let Ron Johnson and every other Senator know that we will not stand idly by and let them betray our values and our votes.

We are in a huge fight and we need to do everything possible right away.
