Newsweek reports:
Former President Donald Trump has endorsed Katie Britt’s GOP Senate primary race against Alabama U.S. Representative Mo Brooks almost three months after rescinding his endorsement of Brooks.
Brooks has denounced Britt’s candidacy, citing support from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell as evidence that she does not fit the “MAGA” agenda, while recently begging for Trump to endorse him again.
The former president finally weighed in on the race on Friday night, delivering a dagger to the hopes of his former ally.
Read the full article. Earlier this week Brooks claimed that Trump’s yanking of his endorsement was actually part of a secret plan to help his campaign.
Surprise! Trump endorses Katie Britt as she crosses the finish line. Is this just another 3D chess “kick in the pants” for Mo Brooks’ campaign? How will MAGA Mo find the silver lining in his hero dumping on him once again? I’m starting to think they have a toxic relationship. ?

We have heard the last of Mo Brooks. He gave his heart and soul to Donald Trump. And his political career. And when he was no longer useful, Trump dumped him like his 27th mistress. https://t.co/bAp5FBXqi5

NEWS, ish: Trump endorses Katie Britt, but not before shivving Mo Brooks one more time. I’m told Britt’s husband, a former NFL player for the New England Patriots, helped bring Trump around on her. pic.twitter.com/wBMUrGjr6Q
