“I’ll tell anybody, I got them AR-15s at home and I like to go target shooting and all that. That’s not what they’re there for.
“I’m not ashamed to say it, I’m probably not supposed to say it, but I’m gonna say it anyway — I got them AR-15s in case the government gets too big for its britches.
“Cause I’m gonna fill the backside of them britches with some lead. When the government makes moves to disarm you, you need to be concerned, very concerned.” – North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, in a sermon delivered at a local church.
The video of his sermon was removed from YouTube by the church after local news outlets took note of it.
Robinson, an open Christian nationalist and NRA board member, earned national headlines last year when he compared the “filthy” LGBTQ community to maggots and cow shit.
Robinson has also said that any politician who supports COVID vaccines should be “run out of office” and that he will “choke on my own blood” to ensure that “Christian patriots own and rule this nation.”
Mark Robinson owns AR-15 rifles in case he has to fight back against a “tyrannical” government, he said at a church sermon earlier this month. | Opinion https://t.co/Iw8Kan001f
