FRC is ready to take our place on the wall and fill the growing void for news from a biblical worldview by launching a new site, The Washington Stand.
In addition to commentary from names you know (and some we’ll introduce you to), we’ve expanded our bench to include a team of reporters devoted to covering breaking news on the issues you care about most — things like the education debate, life, religious freedom, sexuality, marriage, Big Business, censorship, and so much more.
Our goal is to have a greater presence and be an even clearer voice for God’s truth in the noise and confusion of this culture.
And of course, the very first opinion column is an attack on Pride Month, which starts today.
During Pride month, Christians are required to say no to some things. We can’t participate in sin (Eph. 5:11) nor can we celebrate evil (1 Cor. 13:6).
So you may be accused of being “anti” everything. These are moments it’s helpful to remember that anytime you say “no” to one thing, it’s because you’re saying “yes” to something else. Something better.
When we say “no” to doing whatever you want sexually, it’s because we are saying “yes” to virtue, discipline, delayed gratification, and the satisfaction and intimacy that comes from forming relationships God’s way.
