Graham: Pray For SCOTUS To Rule For School Prayers

Posted to Franklin Graham’s Facebook page:

I really like the photo of Coach Joe Kennedy that Sports Illustrated used on their daily cover—but I didn’t like their story or their tweet about it. And neither did a lot of other people. Former NFL kicker Jay Feely was one who took issue.

He tweeted, “Disappointing article…I knelt and prayed after every game I played in the NFL. It was my way of publicly thanking God. With all the challenges in today’s society we should encourage faith not discourage. Freedom OF religion is very different than freedom FROM religion.”

He’s right. But some today want to do all they can to erase God from everything public. That has a very high cost.

Like Coach Kennedy and those at First Liberty who are defending him, we must stand up for our religious freedoms.

Pray for Coach Kennedy and for the Supreme Court as they decide if he was unjustly fired for praying after football games. And pray for our nation—One nation under God!

As I’ve mentioned here before, Kennedy was not fired.
